Okay, I'm gonna be honest, as someone from way early 2000's and Gen Z... I think my generation was the beginning of the end. Don't get me wrong, not all of my Generation is the embodiments of Sloth, but for a majority of Gen Z, I feel like we were slowly corrupted into this slothern state by the tech companies like Apple and Google. My generation doesn't know any skills because they wouldn't teach us those skills before it was too late. Why? Well, I may as well start with the beginning. Prepare yourself, a bit of Storytime, might want to pull up some Brimstone... AHEM!

In The Beginning "of Gen Z" (so basically the year 2000), There were 3 thing that came into fruition, The Computers, The Consoles, and The Television. The Computers were the commons for those in Gen Z. Chats upon sites like MySpace and Facebook would be done to keep in touch with friend, since those were the first of their kind. Google itself wasn't nearly as strong yet and had no control over places like Facebook, as it was still competing with 3 Search Engine Titans: Ask, Yahoo!, and Bing. Why, Youtube was originally a dating site still at the time where you posted videos. No limits either. Among other things were the MMO's and Games that we would play, Cool Math, Newgrounds (I'm sure), Miniclip, and Disney.com/Cartoon Network.com/Nickelodeon.com, all filled with gizmos, games, and toys at the time to entertain our eyes and baffled us when we failed, all powered by the beating hart we called "Adobe Flash". Then there were the MMO's, huge worlds of color and vibrancies where players could get together to take on the fictional evil in the landscape, all the while paying a 60 dollar yearly fee. These MMO's were known as Pirates of The Carribean Online, Wizard101, Club Penguin, and the behemoth of all MMO's... ToonTown. ToonTown, the game where Cartoons went out and killed businessmen with pies, seltzer bottles, and pianos, was known by all, and was considered the superb game for nearly 10 years, only to shut down on it's Anniversary. All of this, with a few types from a keyboard and a click of a mouse, all living in Frutero Aero bliss. The Consoles and Televisions were for those whom couldn't be bothered to pay the Internet Bills, and for those who wanted pre-told stories to go prance around in. For The Consoles, we had Game Cube, Game Boy, Play Station 2, Play Station 3, PSP, Xbox 360, the DS and the largest one, The Nintendo Wii. All these 500 dollar consoles coming with such iconic characters as Parrapa, Sweet Tooth, Big Daddy, Master Chief, Sora, Mario, Kirby, and 150 animals that may as well have been made by Dr Frankenstein on a bad day. All these characters, trapped within the bounds of the game, none able to do more than what they were merely programed with, giving gamers a want for repetitiveness. Lastly was The Televisions! Yes, yes, "God is in the TV", blah blah blah, "This is the house where nobody lives.", blah blah blah "See the anguish in my eyes." blah. Blah. BLAH. Anyways... The Televisions lived in unisons with the consoles, as they were hooked to them, The Televisions at the time ran on either bulbs or lanterns, projecting pictures onto a screen of shows planned out in an order by Hollywood onto what they called a "TV Guide". For my generation, we were the last ones to know any characters from the 90s by watching live Television, since Darkwing Duck, Ducktales, Animaniacs, Hucklberry Hound, Dick Dastardly, Sourpuss, and the old Donald Duck Cartoons (Like Chef Donald), played on these channels before being kicked aside 2008, just to name a few. Among other things, reruns of Andy Griffith, I Love Lucy, and The Lil' Rascals would play as well, of course these were bound to other channels that played King of Queens, Big Bang Theory, and Seinfeld (Seinfeld was fun). With all these things combined, the watchers grew a connection to characters and media a like with ideas sprinkled all tough it. The 3 Things, Computers, Consoles, and TV, lived in harmony, if only for a little bit, all the while companies like Apple and Google began to grow with their practices... Over the years, these Things have become a necessity, and before we knew it, Cable TV had been ditched for Streaming, hiding old content behind 40-50 dollar pay walls, Console Companies began producing consoles quicker and quicker, with games coming and going like clockwork, once one game died a year later, it was on to the next with 60 bucks out of one's pocket, and The Computer had become a place of Cancel Culture, Unfunny Memes, and above all else, a lack of enjoyment, especially after "The Death of Flash". (Because heaven forbid someone actually enjoyed the Papa Louie games.) In this modern day and age, our people have become stale. No skills, no want for work, no creativity except for a select few... All that's left now is a generation of product influencers and defiance. This is what went wrong with Gen Z... Though, that's just my take, all opinion. Sorry for the long story. :P

This was a long read. I almost thought you were making a joke and used ai like ChatGPT to prove a point or something about the comic's message lol. But looks like you actually wrote it all. Glad my comic got you inspired!

Very good card. I liked the envelope it came in as well, I didn't even know you could get a custom envelope made for cards, or rather custom cards for that matter as well. Where does one get those? Oh well, either way, Thanks for the brew. :D

Pure dark magic, a trick of the light, a pepper's ghost effect, instant transmission, or just old fashioned cartoon logic? No one can say for sure. What can be assured though with Skitzo? Someone's going to be chop suey by the end of the day. >.<

Comick responds:

I like to think a mix of demonic magic and a bit of cartoon logic, a 50/50 blend.

Thank you so much. Hope to see more of your work in the future. :)

PancracioChoco responds:

forgot about it lol
ama put it rn :b

Wow, these all look great! Hope everyone who won will be here to see these. Well done, Pencil. Congrats to all. :D

At this point.... I'm just wanting a Doom Mod where all the enemies & graphics are replaced with your art asthetics. Look at that crisp background. Just want to dig a hole just to tour those caverns. Now this might be the 2 AM drowzes speaking, but still, hell is just visually beautiful... mostly. ^^' To be more clear, Deep Hell is beautiful. Don't need that Upper Hell city life...

Comick responds:

Thanks! I spend of lot of time coloring this one so I'm glad it shows ^_^

Man. Already busting out the Red Monsters & Maulers aren't we? Well. Halloween's right round the corner... Then Thanksgiving... Trash might go hunting on that day, won't he.... Oh! Happy 4th of July! :D

Comick responds:

Nothing like some blown up limbs to bring in the holiday season!

Ya know, I just realized... What's with pizza makers & that stupid black & white shirt? I just realized, both Fibble & Peppino from Pizza Tower both have the same shirt, & I know there's a fusion joke somewhere in there. (Ya know, Fibble+???=Peppino.) I... I don't want to ruin it by saying who Fibble would have to fuse with (Cannon/Uncannon) to get Peppino, because Pizza Tower just came out of the blue one day, but why the white shirt with black sleeves? I know there was a version of Fibble before this in one of your "Pre-'08" sketches... I think he was wearing a blue shirt at the time. What happened to that? Oh god, I thought too much! It's all ruined. >.< Pizza Tower just ruined something. I don't know what, but they just did.

Comick responds:

Fibble has been around since 2001 so it has nothing to do with Peppino or Pizza >_> The shirt beforehand was white shirt with a black vest and blue jeans. But for the sake of color branding In The Dark, I went with white, black, red, and yellow. So Fibble's jeans turned red to match his red hair and honestly, I was just tied of drawing the vest...it was easier to separate the sleeves from the shirt into black and white for contrast and visibility in the back and white comics. I honestly don't think a black and white shirt has ANYTHING to do with pizza.

Favorited, & 5 Starred. ^^'

Always had trouble with the normal mode of the first one on PSP. Had to turn it down to easy & could only play up to the frog hippie due to the game having a... "Easy ='s DEMO" rule. Haha. ^^' I swear, I was pressing it at the right time, it just didn't register. Heard the 2nd one was better though... Something about a... noodle virus? Infinite noodles? idk... Love the hair stylist in that one though... The stylist from the 2nd one & the frog from the first one for style alone... The game got a pretty good anime too, would recommend watching "Parappa The Parody" first though, since the anime doesn't have an official American dub... then again Twisted Metal was a pretty damn good Playstation exclusive too... too bad I'm an Xbox player now... I can't complain though, we got FarCry... OH! Goodness, there I go jabbering again. ^^' By the greatness of Deeper Hell I feel like an Animal Crossing villager.

Comick responds:

I only played the first one since I never had a PS2 to play the 2nd. But the first game was super fun and memorable. Wish they made a new game with him!

A fan of Comick's who just wants to try to help her work, ya know? She's been through allot, & I'd thought It'd would just be nice just to do what no one in her fan-base has ever done, make a spin off comic based on the concepts of her comic, In The Dark.
